    Irene (Czirr) Dunbar died Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Perkins Pavilion in Hastings, Neb. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. All Faiths Funeral Home of Grand Island is serving the family. Irene Czirr was born June 22, 1936, in Hardy, Neb., to Walter and Mabel (Bucknell) Czirr.     Thomas Lee Buresh, the son of James and Mildred (Holmquist) Buresh, was born on April 15, 1951, in Davenport, Neb. He died on April 26, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center West at Lincoln, Neb., at the age of 71 years, and 11 days. Tom was engaged in farming and as an electrician living in the Oak and Davenport communities all his life.     James Dwight Ferebee, the son of Arbor and Helene (Goodrich) Ferebee, was born on Nov. 19, 1930, at the family home 2 1/2 miles north of Nelson, Neb., the same house he died in on April 27, 2022, at the age of 91. This was his wish. He attended Pleasant View Elementary School which was 1/2 miles north of the family farm.     The Superior High School boys golf team competed at the Cyndi Peil Scramble hosted by Blue Hill High Scchool played over the Red Cloud Golf Course last Tuesday. Superior finished, with 276 strokes, in sixth place in the eight team field. Other teams at the event were Lawrence-Nelson, Blue Hill, Bruning-Davenport-Shickley, Deshler, Exeter-Milligan, Silver Lake and Red Cloud. The match was a scramble format played over nine holes.     The Southern Nebraska Conference track and field meet scheduled for Saturday at Fairbury High School was rescheduled for Tuesday. Adverse weather conditions caused the change.     The Rock hills High School boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Beloit relays, hosted by Beloit High School, Beloit, Friday. The Grizzlies competed at the Tescott Invitational, Tuesday, with meet results unavailable at press time. The boys team scored 10 points while the girls team scored one point in the 18 team field.
