The Lawrence-Nelson High School boys and girls track and field teams took part in the Kenesaw Invitational, at Kenesaw, last Tuesday. The nine teams competing at the event were Doniphan-Trumbull, Shelton, Axtell, Kenesaw, Blue Hill, Silver Lake, Franklin and Red Cloud. The girls team finished in seventh place with 33.33 points. The L-N High School Golf Team began its Spring season last week, getting a chance to compete before the Easter holiday. As traditional, they traveled a few miles south to Superior to be one of 14 teams in the Superior Invitational Meet. Sandy Creek won the event with placing 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 13th among the 67 golfers taking part in the Meet. Their team score was 356. Heartland was second with a 385 score.
