The US Highway 36 Association revealed the winners of the “Best Burgers on 36” contest. During the month of November voting was live on the association’s Facebook page and website. Richard (Dick) L. Hornbussel, 80, of Palmdale, Calif. died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at his home with his family by his side after a brief illness caused by cancer. Genelda Maxine Snyder, 101, of Superior, died March 8, 2021, at Brodstone Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of William LeRoy and Minnie Agnes Holmes. She was born July 29, 1919, in Callaway, Neb. Maxine met the love of her life and later married Kenneth "Red" Snyder on Nov. 11, 1939.
