Marilyn J. Levendofsky, 86, of Belleville, died on Feb. 29, 2024, at Republic County Hospital in Belleville. Marilyn was born on Aug. 24, 1937, at Cuba, Kansas. Her parents were Joseph Blazek and Gayle (Nemec) Blazek. She attended school at Cuba and graduated high school in 1955. As a teenager, she worked for both the Kravmore 81 and Dinner Bell restaurants. Berniece Lorene (Silsby) Harris, the daughter of James and Iva (Lamb) Silsby, was born on Dec.4, 1929, on the family farm near Northbranch, Kansas. She died Dec. 27, 2023, at Brodstone Health- care in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 94 years, and 23 days. Berniece was one of 12 children.
