    Monday evening members of the Superior City Council approved the one and six-year street improvement plan proposed by the city’s engineering firm, Olsson & Associates. While the plans are subject to change as needs change and the weather forces adjustments, the city street deparment plans to armour coat about 20 blocks of streets and replank the Fourth Street bridge.     The Rock Hills High School girls basketball team lost to Southern Cloud in a 39-35 heartbreaker at Mankato last Tuesday. They closed out their regular season schedule with a 59-22 loss to Thunder Ridge at Mankato Friday.     We won! Superior High School's drill team has plenty to be cheer about. Friday they brought home the first place trophy in the C2 High Kick division at the Cheer and Dance Championship hosted by the Nebraska State Athletic Administration Association at Grand Island.   • Solar array contributed 6.9 percent of the city's electric power needs

    The solar array located east of the Superior Wastewater Treatement plant has been in operation long enough to have allowed the collection of a full year’s worth of data. Thus far the results look good. Monday evening the operation was reviewed by members of the Superior City Council.
