After attending a musical concert called “Shake, Rattle, and Roll,” it made me go back to a more care free time in my life. I may be giving away my age but as the three women belted out songs like “Be My Baby,” “Twist And Shout.” “My Boyfriend’s Back,” and “Soldier Boy,” I found my lips moving as they sang. Sam and Alyce Gillett have been busy attending ball games. Last Tuesday they, along with Lily and Claire Walker, watched Jerrod Gillett play in the game against Sylvan - Lucas. Friday they traveled to Downs to watch Rock Hills play Lakeside. In the JV game they saw grandson, Ross Hutson, play for Lakeside and be high scorer. Kelley and Nick Bunting hosted a birthday party honoring Cheryl Hillman at their Burr Oak home last Tuesday evening.
