    I’ve been getting questions on the farm bill. It’s really important that growers make appointments now at the local Farm Service Agency (FSA) office to complete ARC/PLC election and enrollment forms. Deadline to enroll is Monday, March 16, for the 2019 crop year. The election can be changed up to March 16. Growers who don’t get enrolled by then will be ineligible to receive ARC or PLC payments for the 2019 crop year.     Melvin Kent Enyeart, 78, died Feb. 2, 2020, at home surrounded by his family. Kent was a Vietnam Veteran. Kent is survived by his wife of 50 years, Brenda Enyeart; sons, Casey (Lauren) Enyeart – Andronici, and Aaron Enyeart; granddaughters, Meron and Riley; sister, Cynthia Johnston (O.B.); and nieces and nephews.     Gary Paul Rupp (D.V.M., M.S.), 79, the son of Paul Charles and Katheryn Francis (Smith) Rupp, was born on June 9, 1940, in Denver, Colo. He died on Jan. 31, at his home near Oak, Neb. Dixie Lee Wessel was born on July 11, 1935, to James and Florence (DeWald) Wessel, on a farm in Republic County Kansas. Dixie had one sister, Rozann. Dixie loved life on the farm and her many pets.
