After historic flooding in March 2019 devastated many areas in Nebraska, state lawmakers introduced a bill that would take a much closer look at how the state prepares for and responds to major flooding events. The Nuckolls County Board of Commissioners met at the county courthouse in Nelson Monday. Commissioner James Keifer was excused because of a medical issue. The Superior Good Samaritan Society is hosting a special event for senior citizens on Wednesday in the Vestey Center Lobby in downtown Superior.
