    Leonard Eugene Heglund, 100, of Twin Falls, Idaho, died Jan. 12, 2022, in Montpelier, Idaho. Leonard Eugene Heglund was born to Cora Fern Eychner and Percy Heglund December 31, 1921, near Assaria, Kansas (Mountain View). At the age of one, Leonard moved to Jewell. Kan., and was raised by his grandparents. He attended schools in Jewell and graduated from Jewell Rural High School in 1940.     Teresa Yvonne McGraw, the daughter of Galen Irvin Imler and Marcile Earnestine (Brant) Imler, was born Jan. 18, 1961, in Superior, Neb., and died Jan. 19, 2022, at the age of 61. Teresa grew up in the Superior-Hardy area and also in Minneapolis, Kan. After her graduation, she moved to Illinois for several years.     Eileen (Schiermeyer) Weber of Adams died Jan. 19, 2022, at the age of 93 years and 5 months. Eileen was born near Superior, Neb., on Aug. 25, 1928, to W.J. (Bill) and Martha (Grummert) Schiermeyer. She graduated from Nelson High School in 1946. On April 18, 1959, Eileen was married to her husband of 61 years, Alvin G. Weber; they raised three children.     It was close for two quarters but at the end of the game number one Class C-2 ranked Hastings St. Cecilia handed the Superior High School girls basketball team a 43-30 loss at Hastings last Tuesday.     The Superior High School wrestling team competed at the Thayer Central Invitational, in Hebron, Friday. Superior finished in third place, with 126 points, in the 14 team field. Other teams participating at the invitational were Thayer Central, Red Cloud-Blue Hill. Tri County, Wilber-Clatonia, Shelton, Republic County-Belleville, Freeman, Meridian, Osborne, Southern, Friend, Dorchester and Cedar Bluffs.     It was another rough outing for the Superior High School boys basketball team as they fell to the Hastings St. Cecilia Bluehawks at Hastings, 64-37, last Tuesday.     Kalynn Meyer, a Superior High School graduate, is experiencing the best of two sports worlds at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Recruited to be a Husker volleyball player, Meyer has joined the track and field team this season. She told a KLKN-TV reporter, “I knew I had wanted to do both originally, but then the first season of volleyball just didn’t quite go as planned since we had the spring season.
