    Tammy Emmot has worked for Jewell County Hospital for almost 18 years, but her tenure as a the physical therapist at the hospital, serving both inpatient and outpatient residents of Jewell County and surrounding regions, has closed.     Jewell County Senior Center has a new manager, Gail Lynn Neilson, a resident of Mankato. She started her new job on Jan. 21. Neilson took over the manager position in relief of Phyllis Briggs, who has been interim manager for several months. Briggs offered to fill in as temporary manager until a permanent replacement was found.     The Pike Valley Panthers won over Rock Hills 45-44, marking the third straight loss for the Grizzlies.     The Superior Wildcats girls basketball team visited one of the newest schools in Nebraska - Standing Bear High School in Lincoln, easily winning the game 56-33, Saturday.     On Jan. 10 in Beloit, the Rock Hills Grizzlies, played a tough game and had a good run at a comeback towards the end of the game against St. John’s-Tipton Catholic boys, but fell to the Blujays by a score of 78 to 67 in the end.
