The Annual Response Personnel Appreciation Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. March 17, for all Republic County Response agencies, personnel and storm spotters. This week’s burger night winner at Rip City Inn is Bryan Simms. Betty Bouray enjoyed Sweetheart brunch after church on Sunday at the Scandia United Methodist Church. Kent and Dillon Bouray visited Klay, Kellin and Owen Bouray in Niles on Sunday afternoon. The Rae Hobson Memorial Library was busy on Thursday and Friday putting together goodie plates, cupcakes and cookies and making deliveries in surrounding towns. RFD 9 held their annual meeting at Rip City Inn there were around 25 who attended, starting with the meeting which was called to order by the vice president beginning with the treasurer’s report and the minutes from last meeting and the last annual meeting.
